Claude works where you already work

What changed: Anthropic shipped first-party Claude extensions for Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Slack, and Chrome — meaning Claude can now operate inside the tools your team uses every day without copy-paste.

Why it matters for Empower:

• Excel — ask Claude to summarize a rate sheet, fix a messy takeoff, or draft formulas — in the workbook, not in a separate tab.
• Chrome — highlight anything on any web page, ask Claude about it, without switching tabs.
• Slack — the training nudges and quick prompt lookups can live in your Slack DMs once we enable it.

What to try:

Install Claude for Chrome this week. Next time you're reading a long vendor email in your browser, use the extension to ask: "Summarize this thread and flag anything I need to respond to today."
